Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account or join the waitlist, we collect your email address and the username you choose. Authentication is handled by Clerk; passwords (or one-time codes) are managed by Clerk and not stored by us.

Payment information. If you purchase a challenge, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We retain the Stripe customer ID, the amount, and a record of the purchase.

Usage data. When you use the Site we collect standard web telemetry — pages viewed, clicks, device type, IP address, and referring URL — via PostHog. This data is used to understand product usage and to debug issues.

Trading activity. Orders, fills, and account state on your simulated and (if applicable) funded account are recorded so we can administer the challenge and pay out qualified accounts.

Referrals.If you arrive via a referral link, we record the referring user’s code so we can attribute commissions.

We use the information above to: (a) provide and operate the Site and the challenge program, (b) send you transactional email about your account, challenges, and payouts, (c) prevent fraud and enforce our Terms, (d) measure and improve the product, and (e) comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your trading activity to advertise to you.

We share information with vendors that help us run the Site, under contracts that limit their use of the data:

• Stripe (payments)
• Vercel (hosting)
• PostHog (product analytics)
• Sentry (error monitoring)
• An email-sending provider (transactional and waitlist email)

We may also share information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PPC, our users, or others.

We keep your account and trading records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to comply with legal and accounting obligations. Analytics and log data are retained for up to 24 months. You can request deletion as described below.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, to request a copy in a portable format, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@predictionpartnerscap.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (typically 30–45 days).

California residents have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we have collected and the right to request its deletion. EU and UK residents have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies: session cookies set by Clerk for authentication, a referral cookie (“ppc_ref”) that remembers who referred you for up to 30 days, and analytics cookies set by PostHog. You can clear cookies at any time using your browser’s settings.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information in transit and at rest, including TLS for all connections to the Site and access controls on our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

The Site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always at this URL with the effective date shown above. If we make material changes we will provide reasonable advance notice via the Site or email.
